O-Cha.com’s green teas are freshly packaged and delivered to us daily from growers in various tea-growing districts of Japan, as we order them, and are shipped directly from Japan to our customers worldwide within a very short period of time. By the time our customer receive their tea it has usually been in its package for less than 2 weeks.

Exposure to oxygen rapidly deteriorates the quality of green tea. All O-Cha.com green teas are packaged in oxygen free, sealed nitrogen filled attractive packaging.

Traditional Suppliers
Most of our green teas come from smaller firms, some of which have been in operation for hundreds of years. O-Cha.com was graciously invited by, and operated from the Tsuen Tea house (Japan’s oldest – in operation at the same location for over 852 years) in Uji, Japan for one year after the devastating earthquake of March 2011.

In Operation Since 1998
O-Cha.com was one of the very first online shops to offer fresh Japanese green tea and matcha to those outside of Japan. We are a Japanese corporation (KRM インターナショナル合同会社）registered with the Japanese government, our articles of incorporation list our main business activity as a supplier of Japanese green tea products worldwide – it’s all we do. Our company operates under complete transparency – we have no problem with you knowing exactly who we are. We were also probably the first company to make uniques varieties of green teas such as Yutaka Midori, Sae Midori available to consumers outside of Japan.
