In the late 1970s before the establishment of FANCL Corporation, skin troubles due to cosmetics got sequential in various parts of Japan, and Mr. Ikemori, Founder of FANCL, started development of non-additive cosmetics product that do not use preservatives, bactericides and perfumes. After developing a non-additive cosmetic product, he created 800 leaflets and distributed it to neighborhoods in order to know that this non-additive cosmetic product is an excellent product. As a result, he got many inquiries by the telephone and he made a confidence in own cosmetic products, and it led to the establishment of FANCL.
