About JFW International Fashion Fair (JFW-IFF)
JFW-IFF is an exhibition with a strong presence in Japan, organized by Senken Shimbun which publishes THE SENKEN. Approximately 600 to 700 fashion-related companies exhibit menswear, ladies’ wear, shoes, bags and accessories. Around 23,000 visitors including retail buyers and professionals visit over the course of the show’s three days. The history debuted in 2000 is dramatic. Although Japan’s economy was sluggish back then, JFW-IFF has kept holding fairs twice a year. This is for sure that exhibiting companies and visiting buyers have kept supporting the fair.

Since 2008, it also became the core operation of Japan Fashion Week in TOKYO (JFW). That week is promoted by the Fashion Strategy Forum, which is made up of Japan’s major fashion organizations and professionals. Thus JFW was added to the exhibition’s name. It helps fashion products throughout Japan to be distributed in Japan’s domestic market, and also serves as a platform targeting overseas markets.
The scale of JFW-IFF is one of its advantages. It let visitors gain their targets in one lump.

Meet New Customers
January and July, this is the seasons of JFW-IFF. It stands out from other domestic exhibitions so that it grants both requests adding stocks and researching or ordering one after next collections.

Each area is segmented by those styles. Ladies’ wear, as an example, it can be segmented by at least 6 style or scenes. For buyers, it grants them search their targets thoroughly. For exhibitors, even tiny 1 booth won’t sink into unsorted crowd.

Creator’s Village is known as an incubation area in IFF for small and young designers and companies. A number of designers and young companies have tried their business at the platform of IFF. They can pay less for their booth than regular areas by Organizer’s support.
Overseas companies have always come across the country to IFF since its very first exhibition. In the previous fairs, JFW-IFF has welcomed exhibitors from around 20 countries at one fair. Recent trends in the Japanese fashion market can also be found here.
Please try, experience, and taste Japan’s market now. We look forward to seeing you at the venue of JFW-IFF soon to come.
